The Shallow Ford Foundation is pleased to announce new nonprofit endowment partnerships with Compassion Care Center, Hands of Hope Medical Clinic, and New Horizons Adult Day Services.
These partnerships represent a shared investment in the strength of Yadkin County's nonprofit community. Through nonprofit endowment funds held at the Shallow Ford Foundation, each organization is building a permanent charitable resource to support its mission for years to come.
Unlike annual fundraising efforts that meet immediate needs, endowment funds are invested and managed to provide ongoing support over time. The nonprofit organization remains the beneficiary of the fund, while the Foundation stewards the investments, administers charitable gifts, and provides oversight of the fund.

The partnerships were established through a special matching initiative designed to help local nonprofits begin building endowment resources. Through this opportunity, the Foundation is coming alongside these organizations as they invite donors, businesses, and community supporters to invest in their missions.
The partner organizations provide critical services throughout Yadkin County:
Compassion Care Center serves women and families through medical services, housing support, education, and trauma-informed care.
Hands of Hope Medical Clinic provides free primary, chronic, and behavioral healthcare services to uninsured residents, serving as an important healthcare safety net for the community.
New Horizons Adult Day Services supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities while expanding services for seniors living with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
While each organization's mission is unique, all three share a commitment to improving quality of life for local residents. Their new endowment funds will provide an additional source of support as they continue serving the community.
Community members interested in supporting one of these organizations can make gifts directly to their nonprofit endowment funds through the Shallow Ford Foundation.
The Foundation also encourages conversations with other nonprofit organizations interested in creating an endowment of their own.
