Meet our Staff

The staff of the Shallow Ford Foundation brings together deep community roots, professional expertise, and a shared passion for service. Guided by purpose and grounded in the belief that thoughtful, compassionate work can change lives, our team ensures that the Foundation’s mission is lived out every day.

Emmy Corn

President & CEO

Emmy is a lifelong East Bend resident with deep roots in Yadkin County and more than 15 years of banking and leadership experience. Guided by a strong sense of calling to serve her community, she is active in local civic life, supports her husband’s ministry role, and enjoys life with their son, Landon.

Greg Keener

Program Officer

Greg brings over 15 years of experience in nonprofit development and educational programming, along with a long history of volunteer service and board involvement across the Triad. Outside work, he enjoys time with his wife, Molly, and their son, Rex—often exploring local bookstores, hiking trails, or training for his next race.

Mick Bowman

Communication & Design Associate

Mick is a lifelong Yadkin County resident and creative professional who blends her love of design with a passion for community storytelling. Active in her church alongside her husband, Jared, she enjoys volunteering with students, crafting, time outdoors, and staying connected to the place she calls home.

Dr. Todd Martin

Community Engagement Officer

Todd is a seasoned educational leader with more than 30 years of service in North Carolina public schools, including over a decade as Superintendent of Yadkin County Schools. Deeply committed to expanding opportunities for young people, he enjoys life in retirement with his wife, Genie, their large family, and their Australian Shepherd, Zeke.

Djuna Gallion

Shore Scholars College Mentor

Djuna brings energy, insight, and decades of experience as a special education teacher to her work supporting Shore Scholars through their college journeys. A dedicated parent and lifelong advocate for young people, she enjoys life in Yadkinville and stays closely connected to her three sons.

John D. Crouch

Managing Principal, Crouch Joslyn Good, PLLC

John Crouch has been a champion for the Foundation since its birth from the Clemmons Rotary Club. John moved to North Carolina after completing is degree at Lander University. John has been involved with various charities and civic organizations over his many years now living in our region.

Valerie is a small business owner and engaged community leader. She has supported numerous local initiatives and leadership programs, demonstrating a strong commitment to collaboration and service.

Bradley O. Gray

Treasurer

Managing Principal, Gray, Callison & Jones CPA, PC

Brad offers broad experience in tax, accounting, and advisory services for individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. His professional background reflects a strong commitment to financial integrity and community involvement.

Victoria Crissman Johnson

Secretary

NC Property & Casualty Agent and Operations Manager, CMS Insurance and Financial

Victoria brings a background in finance and risk management, along with a strong attention to detail. She is committed to serving and strengthening the communities where she lives and works.

Jennifer W. Johnson

Jennifer brings extensive experience in financial planning and strategic leadership. She is actively engaged in philanthropic and civic initiatives and is passionate about thoughtful stewardship and long-term community impact.

Kevin is a business leader and public servant with a strong record of advancing education and workforce development initiatives. His years of service in county and state levels reflect a deep commitment to economic growth and opportunity.

Director of Facilities Management, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist

Tim is an experienced leader with a background in facilities management, military service, and nonprofit governance. Known for his energy and relational leadership style, he has served in key board roles and supported major community initiatives.

Melissa has more than two decades of experience in wealth management and strategic financial planning. She is actively involved in nonprofit leadership and community health initiatives, reflecting a passion for service and impact.

Bo Houff

Community Volunteer

Bo is a retired attorney with more than three decades of legal practice and municipal service. His career reflects a longstanding commitment to civic leadership and thoughtful community engagement.

Robin Paul

Co-founder, Chris Paul Family Foundation

Robin is a longtime advocate for expanding opportunities for children and families. With a background in banking and philanthropy, she works closely with organizations focused on equity and children’s mental health.
