A Helpful Guide to Using our Brand

The Shallow Ford Foundation’s brand reflects our mission, our values, and the communities we serve. These guidelines ensure that all acknowledgments, communications, and visual materials honor our donors, maintain clarity, and strengthen recognition of the Foundation’s work.

Acknowledgement Language

Using the correct language helps highlight the role of philanthropy and ensures donors and partners are recognized appropriately.

For Scholarships

When referencing support from the Foundation, consider using one of the following phrases:
“This scholarship is awarded through the Shallow Ford Foundation.”
“Supported by the [Name of Scholarship] Fund at the Shallow Ford Foundation.”

For Education Foundation Funds

Consider using phrases like these when acknowledging support from an Education Foundation Fund:
“This project is supported by a grant from the Shallow Ford Foundation through the Yadkin County Education Foundation Fund.”
“Funded in part by the Yadkin County Education Foundation Fund of the Shallow Ford Foundation.”

General Support from the Foundation

When referencing grants or support from the Foundation, consider using:
“This project is supported by a grant from the Shallow Ford Foundation.”
“Funded in part by the Shallow Ford Foundation.”
“Made possible through the generosity of the Shallow Ford Foundation.”

Logo Usage

To maintain consistency and protect the integrity of our brand, follow these guidelines when using the Shallow Ford Foundation logo:

  • Always use official Foundation logo files.
  • Do not stretch, recolor, or add effects to the logo.
  • Maintain sufficient clear space around the logo.
