The Shallow Ford Foundation has announced nearly $70,000 in grants to help strengthen the quality of life in Lewisville and Clemmons. These investments reflect the Foundation’s commitment to addressing critical needs and building a stronger, more connected community. This year’s grants were made possible by the Community Fund and contributions from the following Donor-Advised Funds at the Shallow Ford Foundation: John & Angela Golden Fund, Keoleian Family Fund, and the Agape Fund.
2025 Grant Recipients
- Cancer Services, Inc. – Engaging cancer survivors and connecting them to treatment, financial assistance, and support programs.
- Children’s Law Center of Central NC – Support for the Custody Advocacy Program, providing legal advocacy for vulnerable children in high-conflict custody and domestic violence cases.
- Community Care Center of Forsyth County – Expanding dental hygiene services for uninsured individuals in the community.
- Crosby Scholars Community Partnership – Expanding Crosby Clubs and programming at Lewisville and Clemmons Middle Schools to foster belonging, mental health, and life skills.
- Diaper Bank of North Carolina – Distributing diapers, wipes, and period products to low-income families through a partnership with the Clemmons Food Pantry.
- Financial Pathways of the Piedmont – Increasing financial education and counseling services for students, adults, and seniors in the community.
- Fostering Faith Foundation – Sustaining and expanding its food pantry serving foster families with both fresh and nonperishable items.
- IFB Solutions – Providing adaptive technology and literacy support for blind and visually impaired students in Lewisville-Clemmons.
- LEAD Girls of NC – Supporting the bi-weekly leadership workshops for seventh and eighth-grade girls at Clemmons Middle School to drive development and cultivate future leaders.
- Piedmont Environmental Alliance – Expanding environmental education programs to schools in Lewisville-Clemmons
- Senior Services, Inc. – Supporting Meals-on-Wheels for homebound older adults in Lewisville and Clemmons.
- Village of Clemmons – Installing permanent StoryWalk® frames along Village Point Greenway to combine childhood literacy and outdoor recreation.
