We connect people and resources in ways that thoughtfully and meaningfully transform our communities with access, opportunity, and an enriched quality of life for all residents. A core mission of the Shallow Ford Foundation is to strengthen the people, places, and partnerships that hold our communities together, build new connections that provide opportunities, and ensure our area continues to be a community in which all people want to call home.

The Shallow Ford Foundation is excited to launch a brand new program – The Bingham Art Series, with the goal to contribute to arts and culture in the Clemmons area. The series features 4 events in 2023-2024, offering both visual and performing arts to the public.

BREAKING NEWS: The Shallow Ford Foundation met with the legislative leaders of NCGA Joint Caucus on Early Childhood to discuss goal to launch an innovative child care model.

Expanding Childcare

The childcare shortage is having a far-reaching impact on every part of community life - families, employers, and schools.

The Shallow Ford Foundation completed its study of the many issues and published a report of findings and recommendations. We are currently working on an innovative new model to address the issues.

As 18 educators were cleaning up their classrooms for the summer, Advisory Board members of the Yadkin County Education Foundation and Shallow Ford Foundation staff popped in with balloons and a ceremonial check to surprise and congratulate them on their Creative Classroom Grant award.

Five West Forsyth High School students received scholarship awards from the Shallow Ford Foundation this year. Each scholarship honors an individual who had a positive impact on West Forsyth High School and is the result of generous contributions from individuals and organizations.

Community Celebrates Yadkin School Personnel

The Shallow Ford Foundation along with local organizations and churches came together for the fourth year in a row to celebrate Yadkin County School personnel at the annual Pack the Park appreciation event held at the Yadkin County Shelter at the Yadkin YMCA on May 29.
